Uprooted... Pero Replandado deals with undocumented immigrants to the United States. I observied them being American yet carrying their cultural heritage and genetic memory and their upbringing by hard working families grateful for the opportunities available to their children. I choose to name this dance in the two languages because I believe in the richness of the cross influences between them.
